Moderate physical activity during uncomplicated pregnancy is important for the health of the mother and child. It may also play an important role in disease prevention, including potentially preventing the development of gestational diabetes. The aim of this study was to answer the question of what is the physical activity of pregnant women with gestational diabetes and what factors may affect this activity. Using a proprietary questionnaire, 80 women with diagnosed gestational diabetes were examined, assessing their physical activity before and during pregnancy, and the obtained results were subjected to statistical analysis using the (χ2) test. The obtained results allowed to conclude that there is a statistically significant relationship only between physical activity undertaken by women before pregnancy and physical activity undertaken during pregnancy.
