Breast cancer is one of the main cause of death in women on the world. In women alkohol-dependent breast cancer includes over half of all women’s tumors. In the paper, ethanol metabolism and its role in breast cancer risk and the mechanisms of alcohol’s carcinogenesis and also possibility preventive actions were discussed. Numerous signaling pathways in neoplastic transformation in women following alcohol consumption have been presented. In addition, natural biological active chemicals as potential preventive factors and their mechanisms of action have been described.
